A Unique Interactive Zone
By Eric Ingram I have been training in martial arts since I was a small child and have enjoyed watching Martial Arts and Jiu-Jitsu training explode into one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Yet, permanent locations equipped to host matches barely even exist.
The Vo-Zone will host matches every weekend, serving as a community gathering place for the participants of training locations throughout that Vo-Zone city and beyond. Having worked with Coach Ty as an Intern throughout high school and college I got to participate in his process of creating completely unique training events by providing the pre and post-video production. I look forward to contributing to the process of adding high-tech multi-media special effects to the matches in the Vo-Zone. The Grappling area will have two DJ Booths and a stage for artists to play between matches. The ring viewing area is surrounded by interactive climbing zones. Multiple large video screens will highlight and promote the participants and the partnering training centers. For many students it will be very inspirational to see themselves on “the big screen.” One thing for sure, it will be high energy and entertaining!
