By Kenric Duncan I understand the Vo-Zone hierarchy of mentoring because I have lived it. Here is my Personalized Training Card from when I started training over 15 years ago.
I become a Vo-Zone Intern in High School and then in college become a supervisor where I oversaw Interns of my own! Effective Interns are peer students who live in the same neighborhoods. They understand the obstacles. I currently work in healthcare human resources and how I communicate with my colleagues and clients today was shaped by what I learned working with Coach Ty. The mentoring hierarchy in the Vo-Zone will be a road map leading thousands of urban students to life-changing vocations.
